Mission and Values

Mission

Galvanizing cross-sector action to build an economy that works for women.

Platform Values

Secure Space: WE Hub is a space for leaders who care about advancing the financial security and economic prosperity of women and girls to connect, communicate, and collaborate in an open and secure environment where their privacy and rights are ensured.

Preserving Access to Information: During 2025, many resources related to women and people of color have been removed from public access. The WE Hub includes a repository where members of the community can upload and share resources that have been erased.

Equity & Inclusion: We are intentional in our efforts to ensure that all people who self-identify as women are included in our work, especially those who have been historically marginalized in the U.S. economy. *When we use the term "women" on the WE Hub we include all people who self-identify as female, including cis-, transgender, and nonbinary people, and our definition of "working women" includes women who are providing care without compensation.

Collaboration Over Competition: We believe that shared leadership, partnership, and mutual support amplify impact.

Knowledge Exchange/ Peer Learning: WE Hub is a place to learn from and with other leaders with similar or different perspectives from our own. All perspectives will be respected in this space.

Intersectionality: We uplift diverse identities, understanding how race, class, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age, class, income, immigration, parental status, and other differences shape the economic opportunity of individuals and groups in the U.S.

Organic Connectivity: We nurture honest relationships and connections with women across all walks of life.

Innovative Thinking: We encourage and foster new ideas to address the complicated and systemic challenges faced by women in the economy today.

*When we use the term "women" on the WE Hub we include all people who self-identify as female, including cis-, transgender, and nonbinary people, and our definition of "working women" includes women who are providing care without compensation.
