Uplevyl is designed to be a very diverse community of women empowering other women. As such, you should respect other people’s beliefs, interests, and property while on Uplevyl. Uplevyl takes a very strong stance against hate speech, rude or abusive behavior, bullying, and misogyny. You should behave the same way on Uplevyl, as you would in real life. Any behavior that constitutes discriminatory or offensive comments, harassment or threats of violence targeting individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, national origin, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religious affiliation, disability, disease, employment status, or any other reason, will not be tolerated by Uplevyl.
NO ILLEGAL USES.
Uplevyl will not tolerate any illegal activity on its platform. This includes buying or selling illegal drugs, contraband, counterfeit goods, or illegal weapons. The promotion and use of certain regulated goods, as well as the depiction or promotion of criminal activity is strictly prohibited. By using Uplevyl, you are agreeing to abide by all applicable laws, including without limitation, intellectual property and privacy laws. You are, under no circumstances, allowed to conduct fraudulent activity.
NO SEXUALLY EXPLICIT CONTENT.
Uplevyl prohibits the promotion and/or distribution of pornographic content. Never post, save, or send nude or sexually explicit content involving anyone under the age of 18. Breastfeeding and other depictions of nudity in certain non-sexual contexts may be permitted.
IMPERSONATION, DECEPTIVE PRACTICES, AND FALSE INFORMATION.
Pretending to be someone you are not, including friends, celebrities, brands, or other organizations is prohibited. Please do not attempt to deceive members about who you are in real life. This includes making false statements or representation of your affiliation with organizations, your employment, or any other information which may mislead other users about your identity.
COPYRIGHT.
Please do not upload any content that violates or infringes on someone else’s copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights. Violation of this section may result in, including but not limited to, the termination of your membership or access to Uplevyl, federal and state law penalties, and any other applicable penalties. The use of copyrighted work under certain circumstance, such as the fair use doctrine or other applicable laws, or the use of a trademark to reference, lawfully comment, criticize, parody, make a fan page, or review a product or service may not be considered a violation of our policies.
NO SPAMMING.
Please be respectful of other’s time and experience on Uplevyl. Uplevyl asks that you ensure that your content is concise, respectful, and relevant. Excessive posting will be considered spamming, and may result in removal from Uplevyl or the termination of your membership on the platform.
CONFIDENTIALITY.
Be conscious of others’ privacy. Do not solicit personal information from other members or users without authorization. Do not use, disclose or distribute any information obtained on Uplevyl’s platform for any purposes outside of your membership and those permitted by Uplevyl’s Terms and Conditions.
NO SOLICITATION.
Uplevyl’s purpose is to provide a platform where women feel safe and are able to provide support and empowerment to other women across the globe. Uplevyl strictly prohibits the solicitation of its members or users, including but not limited to the following purposes: employment, donations, new business opportunities, or selling goods, services, or products. Please do not send unsolicited, inappropriately commercial, or unreasonably repetitive messages to members or users.
UPLEVYL SECURITY.
Uplevyl prohibits any activities that undermine the security and reliability of its platform. Do not hack Uplevyl’s website, App, or associated networks, or bypass its measures to restrict user access. Do not distribute files that contain viruses, Trojan horses, worms, logic bombs, or other materials that are malicious or harmful. Do not use automated scripts to collect information from Uplevyl.
